The Idea Behind the Engine

KonvIR Pro is built on our custom plane-wave simulation engine that uses the actual floor plan of a room to model how sound moves through it. Each wall, opening and surface is treated as a boundary that reflects or absorbs energy according to its material properties. This approach captures how sound bends around corners, builds pressure in certain areas and forms resonant paths that give a space its acoustic personality.
