At LongTail Audio, we prioritize your privacy. We build audio tools, not data harvesting networks. We only collect the absolute minimum information necessary to process your purchase and deliver your license. We do not sell user data, and we do not use your personal information for advertising.

The Software (KonvIR)

No Telemetry: The KonvIR software (Lite and Pro) does not collect usage data, audio fingerprints, or background telemetry. It does not "phone home" to report how you are using the plugin.

Offline Use: Once downloaded and licensed, KonvIR does not require an active internet connection to function.

Information We Collect

When you purchase a license or download our software from our website, we collect only the data required to fulfill the transaction and prevent fraud:

• Email Address: Used to send your purchase receipt and license code.

Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share data with the specific third-party infrastructure providers required to keep our website running and to process your payments.

• Stripe: We use Stripe (and PayPal via Stripe) for payment processing. All credit card and payment details are transferred directly to Stripe. LongTail Audio never accesses, handles, or stores your full credit card number or CVC.
• SMTP2GO: We use SMTP2GO to deliver transactional emails (such as your receipt and license key). Your email address is processed by them strictly for the purpose of delivering these messages.
• Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare for website security, traffic optimization, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may place a cookie to detect malicious traffic, but this does not track your browsing history across the web.

We use cookies strictly for the functionality of the website:

• Security Cookies (Cloudflare): To identify trusted web traffic and block bots.

Security

We follow industry best practices to protect your data. Use of the LongTail Audio website is encrypted via SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Because we do not store payment credentials on our own servers, your financial data is protected by Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure.
