End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (an individual or a single entity) and LongTail Audio for the software product KonvIR (including "Lite" and "Pro" versions), which includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation (“SOFTWARE”).

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the SOFTWARE.

Grant of License

The SOFTWARE is licensed, not sold. LongTail Audio grants you the following rights provided that you comply with all terms and conditions of this EULA:

• KonvIR Lite: You are granted a non-exclusive license to use the Lite version for both personal and commercial music and audio productions without charge.
• KonvIR Pro: Upon purchase of a valid license, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use the Pro version.
• Installation: You may install and use the SOFTWARE on any computer owned and operated by you, provided you are the primary user. For business or institutional use, a separate license must be purchased for each individual user.

Intellectual Property and Restrictions

• Ownership: The SOFTWARE is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties. LongTail Audio retains all ownership, copyright, and other intellectual property rights in the SOFTWARE.
• Reverse Engineering: You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the SOFTWARE, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
• Redistribution: You may not rent, lease, lend, resell, or redistribute the SOFTWARE or your license key to any third party without explicit written permission from LongTail Audio.

Audio Output and Usage

You are free to use the SOFTWARE to generate audio for commercial or non-commercial musical compositions, sound design, and audio productions. You own the copyright to the audio content you create using the SOFTWARE.

Updates and Support

KonvIR Pro is a one-time purchase. Future updates for your purchased version will be available for re-download. LongTail Audio is committed to providing support but does not guarantee that the SOFTWARE will be compatible with all future operating systems or host applications (DAWs).

Third-Party Technologies

KonvIR is a one-time purchase. Future updates will be available for re-download using a provided purchase code for ease of access and privacy protection. We are committed to providing high-quality support and assistance as needed, but no additional subscription fees or ongoing charges are required.

Refund Policy

LongTail Audio offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for KonvIR Pro. Refund requests will be honored if the SOFTWARE does not function as described or creates technical conflicts with your system that cannot be resolved. You can evaluate the KonvIR Lite version thoroughly before purchasing the Pro version to ensure compatibility.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LONGTAIL AUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF LONGTAIL AUDIO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

No Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE REMAINS WITH YOU.
