How to Install KonvIR

Windows Installation

Download the "Setup_KonvIR_Lite/Pro_VST3.exe" installer.
Run the installer (Setup_KonvIR_Lite/Pro_VST3.exe).
- You will see "HERBRETEAU BENOIT Entrepreneur individuel" as the verified publisher.
- Follow the on-screen prompts. The VST3 plugin will be installed to the standard system location (C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3) automatically.
Open your DAW, and it should automatically scan and find KonvIR Lite VST3. If not, perform a plugin rescan in your DAW.

Download the "Setup_KonvIR_Lite/Pro_Standalone.exe" installer.
Run the installer (Setup_KonvIR_Lite/Pro_Standalone.exe).
- You will see "HERBRETEAU BENOIT Entrepreneur individuel" as the verified publisher.
- Follow the on-screen prompts. You will be able to choose an installation location (defaults to a folder in C:\Program Files).
Once installed, you can run the KonvIR standalone application from its Start Menu shortcut or the installation directory.

Download the "KonvIR_Lite/Pro_Plugins.pkg" installer.
Run the installer (KonvIR_Lite/Pro_Plugins.pkg).
- Follow the on-screen prompts. The AU plugin will be installed to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components and the VST3 plugin to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 automatically.
Open your DAW, and it should automatically scan and find KonvIR AU/VST3. If not, perform a plugin rescan in your DAW.

Download the "KonvIR_Lite/Pro_Standalone.dmg" disk image.
Double-click the .dmg file to mount it.
- Drag the KonvIR application to your Applications folder.
Once installed, you can run KonvIR from your Applications folder or Launchpad.

If your DAW doesn't detect the VST3 plugin after installation:

Ensure you ran the correct VST3 installer for your KonvIR version (Lite or Pro).
Confirm the VST3 plugin was installed to the standard location: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\. If you chose a custom path during the Pro VST3 installation (not recommended), ensure your DAW is set to scan that custom path.
Perform a full plugin rescan in your DAW's plugin manager/settings. Sometimes closing and reopening the DAW is also necessary.
Ensure your DAW is 64-bit (as the plugin is 64-bit).

If your DAW doesn't detect the AU or VST3 plugins after installation:

Ensure you ran the correct plugin installer for your KonvIR version (Lite or Pro).
Confirm the plugins were installed to the standard locations: AU in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components and VST3 in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3.
Perform a full plugin rescan in your DAW's plugin manager/settings. Sometimes closing and reopening the DAW is also necessary.
If you get a security warning when first running the standalone app, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and allow the app to run.
